Pastors Joshua & Vanessa Smith are both graduates of Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, OK, and are both licensed through Victory Worship Center and World Outreach. They moved to Summerville from Northern Virginia in 2018 with the call to start a church. They just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and have three children. Joshua is a welder by trade and works for a local boat manufacturer. Vanessa was an elementary school teacher and now stays home and homeschools. Joshua enjoys working with his hands, relaxing with a book, and playing with his kids. Vanessa is interested in health & wellness and enjoys cooking and nature.
What We Believe
The Word of God–The Bible (both the Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God. It reveals the will of God and his plan for all Christian faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Godhead–One God, Creator of all things, who is perfect and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
